“But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Fasting prayer is the act of depriving our flesh in order to feed our soul. The combination of fasting and prayer puts us in the best possible position for a breakthrough.
Once a month we unite in fasting prayer. We see throughout the Bible the importance of fasting and how it teaches us key characteristics in preparing ourselves for the kingdom of God. Our fasting and prayer services consist of praise and worship, a short sermon and then we break our fast together.
